Utah State University, a Carnegie I research institution, has had many success stories in the development of products and technologies. Many of these ideas have started businesses. In this section, you can learn about these products and see some of the companies that started at or are connected to USU. Sometimes, a research project will yield a highly marketable technology, but the professor or research is not interested in the business aspect of marketing the technology. Licensing this technology to companies with know-how can be advantageous for all pareties. This page lists technologies currently available for license.
